The practice nurses run clinics for long term health conditions including hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, asthma and copd. They also carry out cervical smears, give childhood immunisations and offer travel advice and vaccinations.
Health care assistant
The health care assistant runs clinics for blood pressure monitoring, health checks, ABPI tests and healthy living advice.
This clinic is run by the community midwives who monitor progress throughout pregnancy. The clinic is held every Friday morning by appointment only.
The district nursing team manage care within the community. Patients can be referred to the district nurse by there GP, hospital consultant and other healthcare professionals.
Health trainers support and motivate people to make healthier lifestyle choices and improve their health and well being. The clinic is held in the surgery every Monday afternoon by appointment.
Dr Adebanjo runs our joint injection clinic. Prior to being booked in for a joint injection patients need to have been seen by a GP first.
Well baby clinic
This clinic is run by our practice nurses who administer the childhood immunisations. Dr O'Donnell also works along side the nurses during this clinic and carries out the 8 week developmental checks. The health visitors can be contacted on 0151 295 9700.
Dr O'Donnell runs a wart removal clinic. Prior to being booked into wart clinic patients need to make a general appointment with any GP.
